Why did the CIA director make a secret trip to Ukraine before the conflict broke out in February 2022?

The following is an excerpt from an inquiry I posted on Reddit in late 2022:

Considering that BOTH Trump impeachment attempts revolved around UKRAINE… 1st: Trump halting weapons shipments that were to be used by Ukrainian militias in terror attacks against Russia. 2nd: Trump inquiring and requesting an investigation into financial corruption in Ukraine involving the Biden/Obama admin …and that both impeachment attempts were equally unsubstantiated and ludicrous to any objective observer…my question is this:

WHAT IS IT ABOUT UKRAINE THAT IS SO IMPORTANT TO THE WESTERN POWERS? Why is UKRAINE such a hot button issue that, whenever it is brought up, creates a firestorm within the circles of the establishment elite?…

We all know they’re lying about the current events going on between Russia & Ukraine/NATO…and we know they don’t want people to know how we got here in the first place…but what do you think is the foundational motivation for the WW3-READY ATTITUDE that is coming from the highest levels of the US government?…

Is it their vested interest in the so called “bread basket” that is Ukraine? Is it that they feel so strongly that they need to conceal the truth about the US-funded bioweapons labs in Ukraine? Is it that our current president has been tasked with getting us involved in this very war? Is it that a war is needed to distract from the rampant corruption? Is it all a literal PLAN to cause NUCLEAR WORLD WAR 3 in order to usher in a “New Global Order”?

For those who are willing to dive deeper into this issue, beyond the surface level propaganda and BS that will fool most people…what do you think is going on at the heart of this conflict and what is the ultimate goal?…
